First
Impressions Last.
Make it
a good one!
No matter
what you do, the first impression you have on someone will be
hard to over come. First impressions are instant and the most
memorable. Prospects may make their judgments on what you offer
based on their first impression of you or your business. Whether
their initial contact is with your business card, your website
or the brochure, each introduction needs to give them the right
impression – that you are qualified, professional and
trustworthy.
In this
issue of Making Waves,
we offer advice on making a big first impression with your
promotional brochure. Prospects will associate your brochure
with the quality and professionalism of what you offer. If your
brochure has a high-impact WOW factor, it will properly
represent the image you want and stimulate interest and desire
in your products, services or causes.

Making Waves to Up Your WOW
Factor
Your
prospects’ initial impression of you, your business or your
organization will influence the credibility they place on your
cause, products or services. That credibility is necessary to
instill the confidence needed to build a profitable
relationship.
Professionally designed marketing materials can provide you with
that WOW factor that will make your prospects pause and take a
longer look. Captivating design keeps them interested and
creates desire. Once you have their attention, it is much easier
to get your message across.
The brochure
is one of the best methods for promoting your business and
making a powerful impression. They provide adequate space to
make your case, present the benefits you offer, appeal to your
audience and create desire.
Written,
designed and used properly, your company’s brochure can
work successfully to introduce the solutions that you offer your
customers and fully emphasize what makes you better than you
competition.
Don’t risk
your first impression with amateur design. Invest in
professional design to give your brochure the WOW factor it
needs to avoid the trash.

current brochure beat the trash test?

Turning Back
It only takes
a second to make a lasting impression on you prospects. The
wrong impression could destroy your marketing efforts and
there’s little chance of turning back the clock once an
impression has been made.
"The secret of a good memory is attention, and attention
to a subject depends upon our interest in it. We rarely forget
that which has made a deep impression on our minds."
~ Tryon Edwards (1809 - 1894)

Featured Project:
An Impression Made in
Stone
Federal
Stone & Brick offers superior craftsmanship and quality services
in the design, construction, and renovation of beautiful outdoor
residential living spaces and commercial hardscapes. Owner, Doug
DeLuca, wanted to enhance their marketing efforts to property
owners, home builders and architects with impressive marketing
brochures that featured the best examples of the company’s work.
Pure Talent
Graphic Design created two 12-page brochures to target their
residential and commercial clients separately. Each brochure
features the professional photographs of the company’s
installations with minimal written content to allow the pictures
to attract attention and create desire. For credibility, the
brochure included strategically placed customer
testimonials, the company’s background information, experience,
licenses and affiliations. An emotional appeal was also created
by including the owner’s philanthropic activities.
